I'm just wondering who lives in Florida here, and a good place for us to meet. I am thinking Orlando. I live in Jacksonville and I'm pretty sure Orlando would be a good half way point of Florida. First post where you live in Florida so I know if it is even worth trying to set up a meet. Thanks for your interest.

He is correct though, then next meet will take place in Miami in December. That's when Hot Import Nights will be down here, and we're all gonna go together (whoever shows up). After that though we could probably do another Orlando meet. Hopefully Micah will be back by then so he can come too.

damn us florida guys got some nice cars! :super: guayanabo, nice brakes! oldschoolswap, nice engine! jared and SiR, very nice clean sleek black accords! im near the orlando area but i wont be attending any meets till i get my car all done. so many things i still have to get done. the car is getting bodykitted and painted sometime this fall, then the interior is getting finished and i will get the car windows tinted. then MAYBE i will attend a meet. i'll be completely ready by spring for sure. i should have my security and mobile video system setup as well. here is a quick glimpse of my mods and how my car looks right now: Http://www.cardomain.com/id/iceman707

Yes, that would be correct! :D :tongue: We've already made several trips to Orlando, now it's your turn for a roadtrip down here! hahah

The date for HIN is Saturday Dec 13, 2003 (3 days before my b-day!). The address for the Miami Beach Convention Center is:

It's probably the same $25.00 as Orlando was...ugh.

Hey guys, i live in Davie and just bought an 87 hatchback, i was thinkin bout doin a vacuum removal on it cause right now it smokes while idling and goes through spark plugs every other day, hesitates alot, and stalls sometime due to the rich mix. I checked all vacuum lines plus tried adjusting the carburetor, but no results. I think the problem might be the O2 sensors, or maybe something in the black vacuum box. I was wondering if any of you have done it and if it works ok. Plus, I dont know much about the car, and cars in general, you know of the best place where I can get it serviced? I want to do it myself, but this haynes manual is pretty confusing. Plus, its not a looker, what are my options for paint and how much would it cost? Keep in mind I bought the car for 500 bucks.

Hey, thanks for the response, my sc is phatprat2000, im usually on late night and would definitely appreciate any help. I just put in new spark plugs and now the engine wont turn over! Im gonna check tonight if they at least light up. Plus, is the distributor suppsed to be latched tight to the side of the engine? Mine seems to be a bit loose, but it turned over when it was like that. I would like to meet up, but this is the only car I have.

Since when is there a meet setting up in this thread for? I just posted where I live by, and looks like we all want to do another meet. They will probably by for another thread fr intrest about the H.I.N. in Miami this year.

But by the sound of it, it looks like everyone wants a meet going on again!

We need to get a list of all potential people willing to go to a meet. We should include georgia and alabama. Once we get a list then we can tell whether or not it is worth 10 people to drive a long distance for one person. Rigth now Orlando seems to be the best bet. It is sort of the center of Florida and not too far from Georgia. From Jax to orlando is only 2.5 hours. From Valdosta expect atleast 5 hours.

Damn someones been digging through old thread again. Neo, from Valdosta its 5 hours to where???????????? Its 232 miles from my front door to Kissimmee. I've gone to Orlando twice now and it takes me 3 hrs max to get there. Just hop on 75 right on the edge of town then hop on the florida turnpike (don't try to pay your $1 toll with a $100 bill, they frown on that. Trade it out at the dunkin donuts on the pike when ya buy 3 bucks worth of food, they don't bitch) The speed on 75 is anywhere from 80-110 depending on the time of day and the pikes not much slower. Some of us meet up on a semi regular basis. we just don't advertise :cool2:

There is a car meet called Orlando Forums!! I dont know where exackly they meet because i dont know Orlando really well. I know coming from cocoa beach i go 528 to 50 west!!! Ill be there to night. They meet every wed night about 930!!!

Why not Tampa? It's awesome for car clubs... there's races on Gandy Bridge (11 mile straightaway) every Saturday night. St. Pete Beach is cool, too. I vote Tampa!

there seems to be quite a few n/n-c FL guys around here... palatka or st augustine is a nice midpoint... i made one thread about a meet over memorial day weekend, but i think i'll go ahead and make it the official north florida meet...

I live in Miami, close to hialeah. Therefore I thinkk there should be two meets. one in the north part of some city in florida. Then one down south. Therefore suiting everyones needs. Plus I don't think our accords should be makin that much far of a trip

Please tell me your kidding. My accords made atleast 4 trips to Orlando in less than a year, 2 trips to Daytona and 3 trips to Atlanta. The only reason you shouldn't take an accord on a trip is if its a POS. Talk to Jared or Rooz about road trips and 3rd gens

Love road trips, im going to Tampa thursday then to Orlando, straight to Cocoa Beach, then back to Tampa, Punta Gorda, then back to Ft Lauderdale.

We should make meets down here for the south, there is a lot of us down here. but meets all over FL is cool with me.
