Did you swap the rears? Obviously you did if you're getting pads.
Or do you just have the parts laying around?

It should be noted that the wording of what fitment range those pads cover in that link is incorrect. The ad should read, "The pads fit, all 86-89 LX/DX cars and all 86-87 LXI cars."

Since the link makes no mention of front pads for 88-89 LXI/SEI owners here's the link to the same site for them.

http://store.dragracing.com/product.asp?prodid=1022&catid=103

Here's another site that carries the same thing, but gives a master list of all the model years. And just like I said above 86-87 LXI front pads are the same as all years of LX/DX cars, only the 88-89 LXI/SEI car's have the different, larger front pads/rotors

http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/aem_brake2.htm

And here's a link to pick some different brands of ceramic pads.
EBC Greenstuff (which I recommend), EBC Redstuff , Akebono ProACT Ceramic Pads and Satisfied Pro Ceramic Pads This link takes you to applications covering all DX/LX cars and 86/87 LXI's.

And for 88-89 LXI/SEI owners here's your link for the same pad options, plus, Hawk HPS Street brake pads, which are really good pads

...to add to Jim's post (and not to step on toes  ): for all Canadians out there wondering: "what about Ex-i's?" - anything that says 'Lx-i' is also for the 'Ex-i' (as the Ex-i is the Canadian version of the American Lx-i)

Nice info. I am in the process of finding some new pads and will probably go with ceramic ones for the warranty (autozone).

Yea I need to go pick up the car as soon as I get the price I want. One person says $275 and another says $350 for the car. It is an 89 Se-i. I'm getting the rear brakes and intake manifold and little parts.
