OK I have a rough running engine and checked the vacuum hoses and found that #12 hose that attaches to something right next to the coolant bleed bolt is broken. Not the vacuum tube itself but the nipple that it attaches to is broken off and stuck on the tube. Other than changing out this part, whatever it might be, is there something I can buy to repair this broken connector?

Depending on what material the nipple is (the black plastic or the metal) you could use JB weld to fix the metal, possibly. Or you might need to have some one machine or cut off a similar size (prolly less than 1/2in.) and weld it to make a good connection.

Home depot has different sizes of metal tubes (I had to perform a similar operation on another vehicle). It will fit tightly until you can see about replacing the whole part (depending on what it is).
