well i have the carpet up, cause i was patching my rusted out floor, and before i put my subs in i was wondering what the best method is when running my primary power wire. I'm going to run a 4g primary into the cabin were it will be split for my subs and 6.5" amp

whats the best place?..inquiring minds want to know! heh heh

run it along the side of the car.... and then run your RCA's on the other side...

.......wow.......is there a spot through the firewall that is commonly used? should i run it through the cross member? will it get pinched or squished?

I ran the power wire on the passenger side of the car. There was a spot through the fire wall that had a black rubber cap and some lineing inside. I just put the wire through that hole and ran it under the carpet to the back. The RCA cables I ran under the carpet on the driver side. I suggested running it similar to this because your battery is on the passenger side anyway.

i cant find any gaps anywhere :( silly (rh drive) car

run the power on the same side as your speaker wires(after amped) and factory power wires

keep the rca's away from any power soures if pos :)

im trying to find a gap to run 1/0 guage to finish off my boot mounted battery install

oh...thats right I didn't even thing of right hand drive. But yeah just keep the speaker wires and rca's away from power wires. From my very little understanding of audio I am pretty damn sure you can get as big a gauge as you want. You can't go to big but you can go to small....yet you must have the ground wire the same gauge as the power!

four is minimum guage to run.then you can split it down to eight in the boot if ya want

if you are basically running more then 50-60amps then go for dual 4 guage :)
