I've had mine since '93. I'm sorta the original owner - it was my parents' car, then my sister's, now it's mine. I got the short end of the deal though - no $ but traded my 67 Chevelle to my dad. I miss that car...

I bought mine 2 years ago, and it only cost me $750, it has survived 2 wrecks, 1 was a total, but the insurance never branded the title... the motor gave at 295,890. ready for the rebirth... lol

My first white coupe 97-99
Second Red coupe 99-present
Third Red coupe 01-present

I may be in the market for another one since my second coupe is not in such great shape from sitting most of the past few years other than in the winter. Plus i would like to install my other full B20A in one to see how it performs naturally aspirated.

My mom bought it from the original owner on May 30, 1997 with 140k mi and in immaculate condition with every single reciept and repair record, and paid $4400 (I think). I got it from her for free in mid July, 2000 with 253k after she totalled it March 27, 2000 (I asked to have it). Been driving it ever since and she still purrs smooth as silk at 324k! No regrets with my..uhh....'purchase?' :D

I got mine last december, it needed upper control arms, speakers, a fairly major tune up, tires, half shafts, and rear brake pads. The car is no beauty though: stained interior, rusted wheelwells, rusted trunk, rusted wheelwell lips, rusted behind light area, paint peeling off the roof and hood, worn front seats, and falling apart top of rear. The car had 140K when i bought it from the 3rd owner who just got it at the dealer he worked at since it was traded in broken down with a snapped timing belt and cracked distributer housing. It has the original engine/tranny/clutch, but the syncros for 2nd are almost entirely gone, the clutch holds well though with no adjustment from stock. The nice thing about the car is that it has a smooth engine that burns zero oil during long trips but leaks bad (needs oil pan gasket, oil breather tube and gasket, and valve cover gasket). The car also has a moonroof and power everything which is nice. The only options for the lx-i it doesnt have are the fog lights, and the console/armrest.

I've had mine for 3 years now and am the 3rd owner of it. I have all of the documentation from both previous owners. I got it at 155k miles and now have around 188k.

Bought my white 88 LX-i hb 'bout 3 months ago with 169k miles. Its in excellent shape, no interior damage or wear, body is straight no dings, paint is good but clear coat is starting to flake. The mechs is good but need to remedy oil and ps leak. Was bought by woman new and she took great care of it. At only 1700 cash, I think it was a good deal! Need to do some window tint since the desert heat here in Phoenix is brutal! Peace,Out

My dad bought mine for me in '91. He paid $6000 for it then. I was 14 then and I had a Hardship liscense b/c I lived w/ a single parent plus we took care of my grandparents nextdoor. I couldn't be caught driving past 10:30 weeknights and 12:00 weekends, but I always carried one of my grandmother's perscription bottles in the glovebox just in case. Talk about being the most popular kid in my class....I was the shit! I remember how badass that car ran. My dad was shocked when he test drove it. He said that we won't find a better car than this one and we stopped our search right there. Good Times......Good Times...

i bought my '89 accord lx for 150$, put a head on it, runs....overheats, didn't have a chance to fix it before someone stole it....got it back completely unharmed but they overheated it bad...haven't got around to redoing the headgasket and checking the engine over since then (just got it back 3 days ago)
