I dunno but I reckon a little, not too obvious bonnot scoop in the middle of the hood could look pretty nice. Anyone got one on their car? I'd love to see a pic.

Check out my website in the www button below. I updated the site just recently so it pretty new. I need to take new pics b/c I'm finishing my clear corners, just got my vent shades on, got my JDM stock spoiler on and my teg lip on too. And I just remembered that I dont have pics of my steering wheel and new SEI full console. My old one will be going up on ebay soon.

edit: I forgot I also have my new OEM Accord Car bra on the car too.

I do have a picture of it and if you want to host it that would be cool. My cardomain is acting up for some reason. I haven't painted the spoiler yet. So it's white on my champagne car.

Well my guess is that spoiler came off either a 87 or 88 Nissan maxima or a 90s model honda accord. On the topic of hood scoops I finally found a Turbo nissan 300 in a junk yard that was wrecked and was able to get the hood scoop. Now I am about to sell the car because it cost to much to get my steering fixed. The rack and pinion costs close to $300 not counting the labor.

Another reason I want to sell the car is because it is an LX which means its carborated. Anyone interested $650

The spoiler is from the 3rd gen Accord from Japan so that means its a JDM spoiler like I said before. It's not from a maxima or a nissan. I'm actually going to take it off and paint it black and silicone it down and then put the bolts on also. And yeah shepherd, I got a heck of a deal from you on that too. It was timing at its best (on my part) Too bad you won't sell me the JDM accord front lip. I'll get some pics of my badass clear corners that I finished and put hyper white bulbs in. (they're so awesome I went out and got an extra set of tails and I'm going to try and make a set of clear tails.)

Hey Mikesaccord in my earlier post I said a maxima or a 90s model accord. The junk yard that I used to go to (been too busy)used to have an accord with that type of spoiler and a 87 or 88 maximas with a similar spoiler.

Yea u are probly right Kicker I hate to part it out because she does run good other then needing a rack & pinion. I am hopeing that someone will buy her and fix her up. If I did not already have another project (84 s10 blazer w/350)that I want to work on i would buy an lxi and part it out. The wife would kill me if I got another car.

Im thinking put a short ram air intake and then put on a functinal hood scoop to get that cold air to the intake.

I'm not sure how much you would want to trust the adhesive tape.

I might see about some good adhesive glue and some screws of some sort

OK guys before I sold my SE-i to Hostiljava, I thought about putting hood scoops on my car. Even making them functional by cutting out some of the hood between the support ribs under the scoops. I layed them out in two patterns on the hood and took pics. Here is another option... Anyaway, after i sold the car i sold the scoops to a guy with a GMC pickup

:stick: Just a question on makin a functional hood scoop. What did you use to cut though the hood? I am thinkin of makin my own scoop by cuttin a 4-litre milk jug as a skeleton and fiberglassing it to shit. Also, would adhesive glue hold it alright, or would rivits or the like be required? Thanks.

PS Sorry if this isn't in the correct section, the search turned up many many results...

I use my dremel tool and cutoff wheels for everything, just remember to cover up baremetal immediately after cutting. You should be able to hold it on using industrial 3m tape, mine is on with that and I've had no problems at all.
