Ok, A buddy of mine had an 87 preude Si moter in his 85 lude and it was dohc!!! He said that was an a20 something!!! HAs anyone that knows 3rd gen hondas know if this true?? I think he said it was JDM!! Let me know-That wood be sweet to be able to run two cams!!! :super:

A20 is single overhead cam engine. he probably has JDM B20.

The engine in the 88-91 prelude is dual cam and has 135 hp!! Is that the b20??

That's a 88-91 Prelude B20A5, close to the 86-89 accord JDM B20.

please don't confuse two diff engines. JDM b20 and US B20 from prelude.

Oh ok thanks!! My buddy wasnt sure!! He thought it was an a20 style!! I have never heard of a a20 DOHC thats why i asked!! Its all good cause my 3gee is for sale!!! looking around $2000:super:

In terms of Engine codes.

A= SOHC
B= DOHC

So an A20 would be a Single overhead cam, 2.0 Liter engine and B20 would be a Dual over head cam, 2.0 Liter engine.

Edit: an exception would be the old BS/BT engines for the Accord.
