Hi Guys:

Every 4-5 months my passenger side low beam goes out. I'm not sure what's going on. Can some of you give me some pointers on how to solve this?

I've been running with PIAA 80/80 superwhites, which aren't exactly cheap. Do you guys think this is an electrical problem or a problem with the headlight buckets?

Thanks,
Claude

The stock wiring isn't capable of handling that high wattage of a bulb. You need to upgrade your wiring or get lower wattage bulbs.

Are they the right bulbs, (wattage or amps).

I did have an upgraded wiring setup, which completely bypassed my oem harness. The problem still occured.

Erika has an LX 3G with the same bulbs. She has used the same bulbs without problems for two years.

Any other ideas?

Are the passanger headlights loose, cause vibration will prematurely kill the filament.
