87 lxi questions need help

im got and 87 accord lxi i need to know if i can swap my engine for like a 87 prelude si or a jdm motor or increase my horsepower right now i got weapon-r intake pacesetter headers and exhaust i app the feedback

84-87 prelude engines are exactly the same as an accord 86-89.


This goes for 84-87 American Preludes and 86-89 American Accords....................

If the prelude is not Si, it is carbeurated and it has an A20A1 engine the same as an 86-89 A20A1 DX/LX carbeurated engine.

If the prelude is Si then the engine is an A20A3, which means it is fuel injected like an LXi.


You can also swap a European or Japanes Accord Engine in our 86-89 accords, It is called a B20 Engine. 160 stock HP.
