Broke my header bracket

well, for those of you who have installed your own header you know what I am talking about, the peice thats holds the upper part of the header to the block. well I broke off a corner of it while I was removing it. I am wondering if I really need that peice or not?

if it is stock header, you don't need it. you are going to put DC sports headers anyway, so don't worry.

eh, your allways there to help me. And now that I put the bracket up to the dc header, I see that it won't bolt to it. Thanks Alex

I say Fuck it, on my last header install (Mitsubishi) I did the same thing and scrapped the mount, no problems. Think of it as a weight reduction.
