:super: Hey guys i just joind 3-geez i own a performance shop in auckland new zealand. I have an 86 Si vigor. I have rebuilt a JDM spec B20-A engine. the engines essentially stock apart from the ported and polished head and fully polished internals. The engine hauls ass already, 220hp estimate but i need more! any comments or suggestions on turbo kitting this engine would be gratefully appreciated, thanx guys:smokin:

Im in the process of doing a turbo kit on my B20A and its gonna be all custom unless someone over there makes a kit. We had a shop make kits for the prelude B20A5 and the fit with a little modification. Either way doing a turbo is a lot of work and time but should be nice when its done. But i always recommend building the bottome end as well since were typically working with engines that have some miles on them and are not new.

hey what about milage ?? i must have the freakaziod. 173,000miles and a turbo with 12psi of boost. Rob if you bring your car to detriot i might be able to get a 4into1 turbo header made to fit the accord.

I bought a ludespeed downpipe and manifold a week ago. I had to talk him into it but he is making it as we speak so im happy. Thanks for the offer sean. Im glad your car is taking the beating from the turbo.

My father lives in Michigan but on the west side maybe next time i go out their we can meet up if i fly through detroit. I usually go to the detroit auto show but i didnt go this past year.

the engines fresh off the stand its better than new so far its done bout 2000kms, has anyone used two headgaskets to drop the static compression? should i use a copper spacer plate instead? itll only cost $100NZ headgaskets are only $50NZ ova here, were not far from japan really, just kinda downunda. any 1 got any good ideas?

It doesnt seem to hard to get a custom made copper gasket since that was my first attemp and all the places i called will willing to custom make one for me. But Cometic makes triple layer metal gaskets that seem to seal much better so im gonna go with them even though the price will probably be higher than the copper. So if i were you call around to local places that make copper gaskets and im sure they can make you one.

extremly low Si, I'm interested in getting the fixed-light front end for the Accord:

I was wondering if you could get pricing for the front fenders, lights, and radiator support from your local junk yard / auto wrecker.

I Live in Auckland New Zealand. Strong bros is the largest wrekers in new zealand, they specialise in HONDA and they export to the world. If you want the fixed light front end or any JDM parts try them, or why dont you just modify the pop up lights using a bit of fibreglass and a few spotlights or something moulded in?

since you live in auckland NZ find out how much it would cost to buy and ship a whole aerodeck accord over here minus engine and trans. i sent email to strong. basically if it ships without engine and trans then its not a vehicle. its for parts and i want a fucking areodeck
