I sold my Accord a few months ago, sorry guys but I had to move on after all my transmission troubles, I ended up buying a Ford SHO, not a bad car, it's no third gen accord but hey what can I do? Anyways I thought you guys would get a kick out of this, hope it works, enjoy and keep the third gen alive, they're great cars!!!

Just be nice to the tranny. My friend beat the hell out of his SHO and blew two rebuilt trannies in one year. They are deceivingly fast though. Good luck with the ford! At least parts are easy to find considering how many regular taurus's are in the j/y's, but then again its the same with the 3g. Post some pics of the ford!

yeah, strangely enough, even after feeling the 220hp of the SHO I miss my 3rd gen . I'll post some pictures when it stops raining I'll take a few, I've done some work to it, a ton more work on the engine is under way. See I think the same way, it's the best of both worlds, it's a domestic ricer, ford built, yamaha engine, and I shaved the ford logos and put Yamaha ones :D . But anyways I'll be back with pics, and take it easy guys. Best of luck.

She's a 1995 Red Ford Taurus SHO ATX (unfortuantely) 220hp stock at the engine, I've added flowmaster mufflers, relocated the hood strut arms, a strut tower bar, reverse glow gauges, front window SHO Decal, shaved ford logos and added Yamaha logos, now it's time for valve adjustments, and replacing many engine parts to make her run smoothly.

Not to stay off topic or anything, www.shoforum.com is the best place for SHO information.

lol, first post and I didn't even mention a Honda. Ah well, that's what the second one is for!

The guy who did my emissions last year has a daily driven sho that runs 12's. It is such a sleeper other then the wheels. It sounds like rice and he just got a granny looking all white paint job. I would love to see some huge v8 car get blown away by that thing.

I have two SHO's currently a 92 MTX and a 98 ATX (pictured in signature.) I also used to have 2 91 MTX SHO's.

Have you signed up for www.shoforum.com yet? My forum name is the same on there. Lots of information and helpful people. You'll like the SHO alot, just be careful with the ATX, that's the weak link on ATX SHO's.

How many miles? Doing a full 60k with valve adjustment I assume? That's one of the best mods you can do to a SHO, maintenance is key with SHO's. What all are you replacing when you say engine parts?
