talk to A20a1. He'll probably have the best info on how much HP you'll get. If you havent done it already, try searching. you may get some ideas about the power gains.

Yes. PMing or IMing A20A1 will help you out a great deal, I assure you.

Yup maybe 10 if it is tuned right possably more if you have extra mods

10HP if the weber is not tuned. add full exhaust and headers, and it power should jump to about 120-125 at the wheels at least.

I don't think that is realistic with a single downdraft carb That is like saying you have 140-145 at the crank by those estimates mike with his cam should be in low 16's or even 15's but last time I checked he was still tring to break the 17 barrier and his carb is about as well tuned as possiable

My carb isn't tuned I bought it off ebay... and I've been fiddling with it ever since, I'm close but the mixture isn't as smooth as it can be.
I don't have money to throw at the problem just yet and I've been considering other carbs larger then the 32/36 so I don't think I'll have the carbed tuned anytime soon.

Plus I really didn't build my car with the 1/4mile in mind. I was going more for an autocross or road rally setup... and that wont happen either since I'm a dunce when it comes to suspension mods and I'll need a roll cage.

I know I can break 16's I just need to keep my tires from spinning off the line and I have my new header I need to test out.

Anyways back to the question...
The Weber carb out of the box will definately bump up the power since it's tuned fairly evenly, once you add other mods you might consider adjusting the jets to get more fuel. Untill then simply increasing the accel jet and that will help gain off the line acceleration. Plus the weber gets rid of potential vacuum leaks so you can get more vacuum and possibly more vaccum advance durring idle without the need for turning the distributor body which will also help acceleration

Other nice features is that some companies sell intake adapters so you can run a cold air intake like the EFI models do to the front bumper.

The main reason to get the weber is the fact that it's easy to tune... it's not to say the stock carb can't be tuned but the amount of work involved in rejeting the stock carb is really not worth it since it's a one time deal and there is no going back.

One more thing that I feel is overlooked.

Upgrade the fuel pump. I still need to upgrade mine.

does a weber give you about the same hp increase as a FI swap would?

Its really up to you... I'd say with a 38 would be the same as FI

the 32/36 will be more like the earlier FI accord, but you don't need the weber to beat them just mod the stock carb and open the sides of the air box.

But tuning plays a big factor... you could lose 20 hp with the wrong jets in the carb.

what jets should i use, how do i know what im using now, and how do i replace them?

nobody knows for sure since no body has a wide band lambda sensor hooked up to a stock 3g with a weber. But there is a section in carb tech that I dedicated to finding the proper jet sizes for the 32/36.

thanks man...my carb is probly the 32/36, but im not sure, is it written somewhere on the carb itself that says what it is??
