i foudn out that da best choices for a swap for my A20A1 were a B18a or B20a. what car does dat engine come from? i was told that i'd have to go EFI b4 the swap, what does that mean? and what are the pros and cons of those engines?

EFI means you must convert to fuel injection first

you have to go efi because u got a carb setup(lx stock) and b-series are fuel injected ... so there for you have to switch ur obd setup .. right? im learnin also .. so im saying what i think .. correct if wrong ..

here is what you can do:
1. you can look around for JDM B20A and use stock carb with it.

2. You can look around for JDM B18A (3geez version), it is using dual carb setup. 140hp engine. it is very hard to find this engine. i think there was a company in baltimore MD that had a few.

3. you can ditch the carb, and buy EFI setup from SEAN. you will need to a little work, but not as much as full 3geez EFI conversion. when you get Sean's EFI setup you can go with turbo.

The easiest would to get the B20 and run it with dual carbs. :)
