Painting 86 87 tailights

I have searched the board, and haven't been able to find the tailights of 86 87 people who have painted them candy apple red, only 88 89. Has anyone done this?

Yeah I'm just trying to get a good idea of what it looks like beforehand. I am not a fan of ricey crap, or anything that looks trashy. I want my car stock as possible, but I think that the candy apple red tail lights would give the rear end a face lift.

ya I'm sure people have. I would just do it. But ya most have been the 88 and 89 Accord tails.

ya SIR's turned out really good. I've painted my TL tails, and my Accord now twice.

Go for it. If you don't like it, buy a can of acetone and the paint comes off with a little elbow grease. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
