s3 light flashing on my dash cluster?

i know this is some kind of code telling me there is something going on somewhere. my transmission shifts fine however when this light starts flashing, the s3 button on the shifter is deactivated while im in sport mode. (automatic tranny w/sport shift) has anyone had this before?

check your trans fluid level.

i have d3 & d4.
on the lx and lxi.
i had the lxi tha d4 flased 2 time's ; which after this i noticed that my converter did'nt lock.
so like sheperd79 said check the fluid. if it's level then smell or take some and wipe it on a paper towel. if it smell's or look burned then you should change tha fluid.
but what i read those are to let us know that one of our solenoid's could be malfunctioning, or a loose wire (which was mine's in this case).

I though that only the 90+ Acorrds had sport shift. Oh wait you have a Lude. I would change the oil and then go from there. The tranny oil is something people usally forget about to change.
