z-3s and tails!!

hey, how many of you wold be interested in having altezzs's, clear tails, or z-3 fenders?

I got a friend who has a ford escort and his own shop. as you prolly guessed, not many aftermarket parts are available for his car so he makes a lot of the parts for it. I talked to him about making tails and z-3s for our cars and he said he would do it. I have to talk to him about prices, but i wanted to find out how many peeps would be interested.

I will try n find tha link to his car so some of you could look at his work.:cool:

the les tails he would use to make altezzaqs. he would put one bulb in the light on the car and a light in the trunk light then cover them with clear or tinted any color plastic.and yea those led lights look phat!

Carbon Fiber Comes in LOTS of ways, but most people use the Weve, and use Epoxy and make a mold using an Exisiting part.

i have seen a whole car in fiber. go look in the import racer mag. oct. 2002 issue or check out fiberimages.com the civic even has the wheels carbon fiber

hey, he said he could make the fenders for $150-200. i talked to him about the carbon fiber trunk lid and he could prolly make it if he got the cf be cause he said it doesnt look to hard. also if u want, he could prolly make vented hoods and other goodies like that

I'm still interested in the fenders, I'd be willing to put halfdown on them, before he starts, and half when I recieve them if he'll do the first set for $150 plus shipping. I'll stick them on my car, take lots of pics and if they look good let everyone know about it.

i really doubt that he can make things out of carbon fiber because carbon fiber doesnt work like fiberglass it has to be vaccumed packed and heated to high tempertures and all that good stuff

Id dig deep and pull out money for z3 fenders... i need a new passenger fender anyway... and hoods with scoops would be tight as hell...Then I can upgrade my carburator setup...
Also see if he can mold body kits, or if he needs existing pieces to make molds.

You have to be careful when it comes to metal z3's. I made them for my honda like the week I got it, and it got the cancer within about 3 days. If these are made of CF or fiberglass, I am in, but if not, thanks for the info, but no thanks...

I don't think it's a big deal, you just have to do the proper prep work, good sanding, prime as soon as your done cutting and don't wait to long to get it painted.

sup guys, im back. sorry for the wait but i was in michigan visting my bro. he goes to mich. tech, up in houghton.
but anyway, he could make the fenders fer $175, or like $225 if you wanted them painted pritty close to your car color. all of the z-3s he made never rusted out on him. he could prolly custumize bodykits to fit cuz he has like altima and other foreing car body kits on his escorts, and he could test fit it on my 88 lxi coupe( so side skirts for 4 doors, and 86/87's mit not work.) But the body lit thing was a good idea, i never thought of that, man i am dumb!!!!!!!\

well, my friend, he was really more of one of those people that i was cool with from school, but he graduated in this GED program, i went to his shop to put on my coilovers, and i havent seen him since, i kinda forgot about this, but when i go to school on monday, ill check around and see if i can get his number, or ill have to make a trip to his shop and see if he is there.or ill try and get his email. im gonna try and get this going finally, i dont wanna be a dumass and let u guys down. how many people would be interested if i could get this going? just to let him know an estimate of how many people would want fenders. im gonna try to get this going, and if i dont please dont hate me.

I know that this isn't gonna go down, you all got your hopes up...so did i, but if anyone is interested i do design and make the altezza's for our cars, and others, they look better then the ones that this guy does though his do look well done, mine look exactly like the originals. they cost alot of flow so no cheap ass lookin for a deal responses unless you've got something you think i might need or want.

I guess what I am saying is if you want Altezzas so bad buy a 4 gee Accord. I have been thinking about getting the 90 - 92 Accord and I may just go through with that....

aight, i got off my lazy ass today and wnet to his shop. he said he would do the fenders for $200. ima try and talk him down. what he does is takes a stock fender, and cuts a whole in it, then make a fibergalss vent, and bonds it to the fender, so it has all the stock mounting brackets. so who all is still interested?
