Is there any differance between the gas tanks on carbureated vs fuel injected models? If so, what is the differance?

I think fuel injected models have an extra mini tank that is supposed to hold pressurized fuel.

i think the fuel pump mounts are different.

so why do people say swap the fuel tank when you do the EFI conversion?

yeah I thought that they were different but it sounded like zero was disagreeing saying that the pumps were different... I dunno maybe they're a lot of differences.

no he was agreeing saying that one mounts internally and one mounts externally. that's how i took it anyway.

The FI tank also has some internal bafling to try to keep the pump from sucking air for a second when the fuel level is low.
