i've heard so much about h22 swaps for cars, but what about the 2.3L engine from the 97-99 acura 2.3 CL? i don't know exactly the engine code for that car but i believe it's the h22 bumped up to 2.3 liters if im not mistaken. it's got more displacement and more power. has anyone ever done that engine swap b4? not that i heard of anyways. just wondering about that engine. i've also been thinking of getting myself an acura 2.3 CL all tricked out. anyways. i think too much...lol

No the 2.3L in the CL is not a variation of the H22, it's the same plain jane 150HP motor in the 98-2002 accords. If people wanted more power, the had to get the 3.0L V6

it is the same exact engine.

yeah i saw that 3.0 v6 CL too. that engine must be tight in there. those 97-99 CL's are not that big. about the same size and almost the same looks as the 5th gen accords except for the rear end. hmm, now im really wanting a 1st gen CL now. hehe.

there's a 2.3 CL??
i thought it was a 2.2CL??

and yes, the 2.2 CL uses the same f20b engine as the 94-97 accords...

How can a 2.2 Liter CL use an F20B? Either it's a 2.0 Liter CL or it uses an F22B.
