View Full Version : Heres Some Things I Made Custom Out Of Plexiglass

i made my clear tails out of plexiglass, well the lense anyway. ive been getting better and earlier in the year, before summer, i made these things out of plexiglass. made the Japanese flag with a printed flag on paper, sandwiched between 2 pieces of plexiglass. then i used some rubber like super glue around the edges and clamped it together. then drilled a hole to put the little pull chain thing throught. the 2nd thing is the piece that i made fit into where the old tape holder was. i just cut out the inside and cleaned it up. i painted it black and had Honda in red. then i decided to cut a hole and put one of my many honda H emblems i got from steering wheels in there. looks pretty good. a lot of people seem to like it and always ask where i got it.

nice! you should put some lights behind the tape insert. not too much jsut a soft glo...it would look so hot.

yeah, i was thinking about redoing that insert to make the spelled out HONDA a bit higher so i could put a light behind it. just paint the background black and make it look frosted on the letters. then put some kind of light behind it, probley a floresent cuz its lighted all the way across. and of course, the H in the middle would be there again.

Depending on how thick the plexi is your using, if you do the honda in a frosted etch, you can then drill holes in the sides of the plexi and insert LED's. The only thing that will light brightly will be the edges and the frosted part.
