Nutserts

I wish someone had given me a heads up on these a long time ago. It basicaly lets you put a nut into just about any place you can put a pop rivot. Very handy. You can get them here http://www.mcmaster.com/, just enter nutsert in the find box. Don't bother with the special install tool, you can make one out of a bolt and a piece of sheet metal.

Yep, pretty neat. Our sheetmetal guys use them and other rivnuts, and nutplates on aircraft where you can't get a nut. Sure does make life easy at times.
