If you've got an LX-i, you already have fuel injection.

Weapon R (I think) make a short ram intake for it. There some directions somewhere on the board here to make your own cold air intake. You do it my modifying a Civic or Integra intake. Do a search for cold air intakes, you should be able to find it.

The ( i) in LX-i means Fuel injection! You already have it.

I was told that my accord was half carb and half injection.

Yea, slap whoever told you that.
The correct statement is: From 86-89 half of the Accords had fuel injection whild the other half had carbureators.

There were probably more with carbs due to two trim lines instead of one. I could be wrong though, just thinking logically.

That's funny, half carb half fuel injection, how do you suppose that would work? Inject fuel directly into the carburater somehow, I dunno, I just know my head hurts now.

General Motors did it. It was called TBI (Throttle Body Injection).
Ford did it in the form of CFI (Central Fuel Injection)
It is basicly one big fuel injector inside of a throttle body that looks like a carb, a mediocre approch at injection compared the the LXi.

I know, but I like dumb threads, it's more fun when you don't have to think so hard about a problem car related, why else would I hang out in the off topic forum so much?
