I work at Les Schwab's, tire company that deals in the western United States. I am going to be tested soon on what I know about tire tread and crap. If you would please take a pic of your tread, I can test myself, and try to indentify the barnd and series name. If I get stumped you get bragging rights! I know most of the toyo proxes series', but try to test me with other brands, or Toyo, but Toyo will be easy for me.

Thats even more retarded, If he has to pull every tire to find a Matching Tire. and cant Read the Sidewall, and has to dig thru a mess of tires. Then....
1. The shop is a mess
2. The Employee Wasnt Born in the US.

Every time i had to get tires, they didnt Match up Treds, They matched up the tires with the words. shit.

I used to work at Les Scarab... heheh HIgh High price... good garantee.

The tires Nx's accord are Toyo ultra's. The ones on the top are Falkens....

You can reconize the tread instead of looking up the sidewall. in alot of cases, you'll know the size too! :D I have to memorize all the sizes and learn to pull out a tire without guessing.. It was my job as an Inventory dude. I used to run all over salem, Independence, Monmouth to transfer tires.. blah blah

I used to work at the Dallas store.

i thought they had a bar code/name label on the tire tread to make it fast identification. thats what ive seen in tire shops. i wouldnt mind working at a tire shop. i dont know why, but i like the smell of new tires.

I can't tell very well, but I think Procomp's are Toyo Ultra, and I beleive you are mistaken, NXRacer's are Toyo spectrum. But seriously though, you worked at Schwab's?

You need to know it for a quick reference when a person comes in and describes the way the old tread looked, and I think that's just about it. I also know that Les Schwabb in an 86 year old man who is ging scenile, and believes that everyone must know everything about tires.

- Most tires don't smell good. We got some wild contry RVT's in that literally smelled of rotting horse flesh.... so I licked one for five bucks. My manager laughed his ass off.
