Motor looks nice and complete too bad the tranny is damaged because it was definatly worth money. Hope things go well and i think the hardest part of the whole swap was the wiring because of some confussion but Juan was very helpful on that.

Real nice motor bro, especially the valve cover unless the pic isnt showing it's true self. What was the price considering that destroyed tranny? Nice big ass garage too shit, that looks effin huge.

wow i am insanely jealous. I need to get new engine but i dont have money for a swap. The car is nice and clean too. actually thats exactly what i want, a black LX-i. now am I just seeing things or is there some kind of z3 fins on your hood? that would be interesting......yes provocative! by the way what part of nor cal are you from?

wow, that motor looks hella clean, Are you going to Fabricate ur own Mounts??? keep us updated. Such a nice Garage to work in. I got a Garage bout that size, but my Dads freekin BMW z3 is takin up half the Garage.

my tranny case was smashed when i wrecked my 5g. the frame rail was bent so far over that it came in contact with it and left a big hole in the side of it. that's all fixed now though so no worries

Yes those are Z3 fins in the hood, there are some better pix of them in a previous post in here. However the engine bay heat warped them a bit, so I am replacing the hood w/ a CF hood very soon.

I will most likely fabricate / adapt custom mounts, but if it gets too out of hand / time consuming I will just buy the place racing ones.

what are you going to do about the Tranny???? what do you think is going to be that hardest part???? What custom Mounts are you going to Adapt if ur not going to buy the custom mounts from place Racing?

I can make mounts or adapt the ones from the A20A3 or the B18C1. As far as the tranny, it may not be damaged cept for the case. It looks fine, but looks can be deceiving. I will give it a thourough inspection later to see if it is messed up or not. Hardest part is probbly going to be converting everything OBD.

Oh man! I can't wait to see your engine mounted. Must be a great sensation running with V-tec inside on our 3g.

hmmmm..... Do you have the ECU and Wiring Harness???? wouldnt you have to just put in the Wiring Harness and ECU?? to switch to OBD????

No ECU, but I am picking up the wiring harness today as well as the other axle, mounts, and whatever else I might want off the car, all included in the $2500 price.

the teg was totalled. It was hit from the side and the metal in the engine bay hit the tranny case smashing it. However it did not get far enough to damage the tranny itself as it still shifts thru all gears just fine.

Just a minor set back. What else to you need to get this installed and any other mods you have in plan, turbo or allmotor.

Well, Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that a cam is going to be the most bang for my buck, and is going to be my most expenive upgrade (even if I do have to redo the top end in 2 years to pass smog) for now. I do plan on boosting the engine, eventually, but for now I dont want to plunge too deep into debt as I am already buying all this engine / suspension stuff all at once. Even tho it will be all motor I guarantee you it will be fast :D

Well I understand the not buying everthing at once. If I still end up doing the C1 swap I'm just going to worry about getting the engine running and inplace and then when I have more money start modding the crap out of it.
