Here is the simplest i can make it to be

1) Get on RT 9 South and Pass Rt 18 Over pass.

2) Make a RIGHT onto Union Hill Road (the road kinda curves and shit) <<This is after Kilmer Dr and Rt 9 intersection>>

3) Make a RIGHT onto Pension Rd (this is the intersection after Kimberly Ct)

4) You will see the raceway park on ur right (Old Bridge Airport is right across from it)


PEOPLE COMING FROM OTHER STATE (NY, CT & PA)

1) Take NJ turnpike I-95 South and get off on EXIT 9 and take RT 18 South

2) On Rt 18 South, look for Signs for Rt 9 south. (the Exit is after Rt 18S and Sunset Ave Intersection). <<This exit has a car dealership right across from it>>

Maurice, I am getting new rims next summer but the rims are not holding up well the clear coat is getting dull and one is peeling a little because i think hot tar landed on it since both highways i travel are being re-paved. So my suggestion to anyone done get silver polished with clear coat. Stick to chrome, a color, or a real chrome lip. Im thinking or 3 piece white with chrome lip next time but its very hard to find a 4x100 bolt pattern never mind 17s with multi piece rims.

yeah. found out that we get dropped on NOV 19th. so i will deffnatly be at Etown in the AV6--that will still be on the road by then. but after nov19th.....i dunno. but i was talking with my dad and hes pretty convinced about the winter too..im really looking at garaging the AV6 and pulling the hatchie back out for the winter and not even try to get the AV6 back on the road. id rather keep her good, un salted, and garaged this winter, plus im leaving for boot camp for 6 weeks in feb and i wont be back to pick up the AV6 for a little while after that 6 weeks untill i get my first leave.

so who the hell knows. at least ill be at etown in my bbaaayyyyby!!!

Maurice man i have had the brakes on since spring and they were there during the meet at the beach. Im thinking of taking it now since steve is bringing his but i will wait and see because my girl has had my other coupe since summer and i know the water pump is on its way out. Plus you guys wont see it for awhile since im taking it all apart for the motor and hopefully body work and it wont be back on the road til its done which depends on school.

Just washed the accord today so i guess i will be taking it tommarow plus i dont feel like going home today to get the Audi. I cant wait to start the swap and send it to the body shop now because the parking garage at Uconn has been bad to my car (damn people cant open a door) and i always park at an end in the lines but people just park as close as they can.

Ran 11.1, red lighted, broke out, busted an axel, and he was still grinning from ear to ear. Johnny's awsome. On a related note, I tossed some fresh oil into the 2g and got the beast started last night when I got home. I drove it around for a bit, its not smoking like it was. Maybe I just over reacted before, maybe its because I you guys got me wanting to race again, but it didn't seem nearly as bad as I remember it beign when I parked it. There is a chance I might have it there on the 16th now. Seems to have an ignition problem right now, the motor itself seems fine though. How strict are the techs a e-town. I still have the gaping hole in my frame and I'm going to have to drop the tank to patch it. Think they'll let me get away with it?

I just woke up from bed and first thing i checked what this thread. Its good to be beack home. After i left you guys, Maurice, I got gas and my car wont start. I was pissed like shit and started ripping my car apart in the dark gas station. I called up andy like four times and im like yo why aint my starter kickin in and he was like prolly it was dead. I was siting there for and hour and a half and shit would not work. Called up my mechanic and whatnot and stuff still did not work. SO i finally called up DON, the guy i came to the meet with, and i was like yo look in the engine bay and lemme crank it, THen he goes yo where does your power cable for the starter go, i was like there and pointed out to him and he was like check if the bolt was loose, i was like okay and felt it shit was no where to be found and the wire was just stickin out. TUrned out the bolt aparently came off due to vibration and was just arching (Thats how he found out) and luckily i have spare bolts in my car along with my tools and tightened it in a minute and shit fired up. I was like, Someone just shoot me. BUt it was cool and htanks andy for your help with the injectors and the starter.

And Maurice, seems like i can kick ur ass TUrbo Vs NA baby. hahaha, we should race sometime even though i got no LSD. :P

hahahaha Dude, I had no turbo. I orginally had 1 psi but with the intercooler hose broken, all the boost is coming out through there. That means, 0 boost :D also, I was not racing ya ;) just wanna make that clear :flipa: That reminds me, I gotta fix those hoses sometime this week and raise up the boost to 8 psi. Gotta get ready for the meeting at bloodstart's house :D

It was funny, when i was looking for the Turnpike I found Praveen and before that I found Johnny O :D i didn't see him at the track but I saw him on the road :lol

I had fun at the meet. I didn't take as many pics as I would have liked but when I get home, I'll post mine. Good to hear everyone made it home ok. I stopped to eat on the way home and when I came out, I checked my oil. The dipstick came out dry. Good thing I had a quart in the car, I was in BFE. Made it home by 10:30. I had some asshole riding my ass for a little bit so I burned him. Little old car had no trouble hitting 100. I was proud and it rolled over to 189,000 on the trip.

Sorry to hear Jay......No maurice was having some problems with his car and came very late. You didnt miss much because there was no where near as many cars as last year at the track. So basically it was just a nice day and we watched some races and hung out then had a really long trip home.

i wish I had a spare EFI Distributor. All i have is a Spare Carb Distributor. Do u want it Jhonny? Besides, IF you need any spare parts, ask us man. I am sure we got some stuff that you ask lying around. I got a buncha electrical stuff lying around.

I'm working on it. I'll be there, and I'd like to be racing this time. I put some fresh oil in it and its not smoking out the breather. Its giving me spark problems right now, hopefully it's the stone dead battery sucking up too many amps. I'll be replaceing that this weekend and fixing up what I can. As long as i can get it up to the track don't have to tow it back home I'll be happy.

as for the 16th im not going. im going to bloodlusts house cause i really need to get those parts from jim to get the 3g finished before the snow. if i dont i wont get it down before i leave in feb. i cant afford to do both events---both money wise and time wise....so unfortunatly i wont be making it. and the kicker is i wont even be driving my AV6..ill be in my dads van to fit all the parts!!!:(

Well the piece of crap is running, and unless i wreck it it will most likely be there. I'll be there regardless. Looks like the coil wire rusted into the distributor cap. I sanded most of the rust of and its running a good deal better. Hopefully a new cap and wires will get things right.

Id like to show my 89 accord at a 3geez meet. Ive got an 89 accord dropped 2.25 inches. Shaved emblems, Shaved side moldings, Painted moldings, doorhandles. 4 inch muffler, started custom interior. I can't bring in to the meet though because its not fully complete. Its getting a 90-93 accord black widow keep added on and getting painted metalic blue with 5 coats of clear. Can't wait to bust it outta the show its been 5 months. When I get it complete i'll post pics. Its deffinately comin out nice and im doin all the work myself. $8,000 worth of work all done for $100 of materials. Rad, huh? I'l send pics as soon as I can. Later my 3geez anthusist!:werd:

It was kinda lonely this time. Just Johnny and myself. I actually did have my car there this time, and it made it to the other end of the track. Set a new personal best for the car with a 15.6. Unfortunately went out 1st round with ignition trouble. I finally figured out what the problem was on the way home, when the car just up and died on me. The connector for the ignition pickup pulled loose. I think I might have broken a motor mount as well. The car was bucking harsh when I shifted on the way home.

If anyone has me on their christmass list I could use some solid motor mounts, a ported head, and the car rewired. C`mon I've been a good boy ;)

That head looks a little familiar turfnsurf except a bit cleaner and with all the machine work done. Sad to see you never got to see the thing run on your accord.

I cant wait to get my B20A going but i still have a ways to go and lately iv been helping my girl out a bit and iv been spending money like water. I just had to order $500 for 6 snow tires to take care of my car and put 2 on the front of my other coupe that she is driving. She rear ended someone a few wks ago but its because the tires are shot on the car so i have to take care of business before i can get back to the turbo project. But its going smoothly just got all the ARP harware and next will be working on getting a few Cometic head gaskets.

I am sorry guys been very busy with work and catching up on things I have been pushing back on.Mine first run was good in the beginning had a good 60' at 1.65 but then got lazy in shifting and then missed shift ran a 11.7.Then made the worst mistake a racer can make,change something that was working good,took out to much fuel and the car will not run good ran a 13.7.I am going this sunday to redem myself,need to run 10's before I take it apart if not I will break it to run that #.Andy lets see what i will be doing next year I might have a head for you,and my chasiss guy can make those solid like mine.If you are interested give me a call(203)430-3394.

Damn, can't make it. I wanted to see that thing run 10's too. I am interested in some solid mounts, maybe a cross member but I gotta figure out how much cash I can sink and what is higher on the priority list. I looked over my paper work for the car when I got home, I was wondering how much time I had untill eveything expired. Looks like it was september, good thing they don't check for things like insurance and registration at the race track. I've been debating the idea of buy a tow dolly and just not bothering to renew the tags or anything. I don't have any thing to pull it with though. Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere new jersey trying to push my car to a street light to figure out why the ignition cut out wasn't fun. It makes hauling the car there seem like a good idea. Lots of things to work out. The 15.5 goal is well with in my grasp. I'd like to see 15.3 out of it before I do any thing too drastic so I can tie openloop's accord when it was still a20a powered. (They were running a stock head and internals when they ran that time wern't they?)

Well I went Sunday and first run I ran a 11.06 @ 126.Second run changed the coil overs and ran a 11.2 took to much load off the front tires.Added more load on the front tires and more boost ran a 10.98 @ 127.Will post time
