flex pipe leak

how much air do u lose in having a flex pipe leak or hole and will does it make a big sound difference when i replace because right now i have a 2.25" catback wit a muffler that is not so loud because of the leak

i would think it depends on the size of the hole ... i dont think it would affect the sound of your exhaust much.... why you want your exhaust loud? that just gets you tickets
