dash light on

I have an 89 accord lxi 2 door
On the dash the door light will not go out (not the picture one it works fine) but the one that says door stays lit

Check the door ajar sensors (switches) on the door that it it saying is open. Make sure that it has play and is not stuck.

the black levers are working ok those are the ones that run the picture of the doors on the dash they work fine its the word door non specific
