Long time no see guys. Anyway, I've continually been having problems with my valve cover. It always leaks oil onto my headers. I've tried replacing the valve cover gasket, but it doesn't seem to help much. Has anyone else had this problem? I've heard of some people getting a valve cover from an older accord to fix this problem, but I can't remember which year. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

mine used to leak oil too. i bought a tube of some gasket maker gunk. took off the valve cover scraped all the edges clean and resealed it myself. its worked well for over a year so far.

change your valve cover for an EFI one.... or a Prelude 1.8

The LX cover must be bent

it could actually be for powersteering hose leaking, i had this problem and i thought it was the valve cover, then i realized my power steering was low so i filled it back up went around the block and shure enough it was low again.

when you replaced the valve cover gasket did you also replace those cone shaped grommet thingys that hold the valve cover down??? it turned out that my oil leakage was a result of a damaged grommet, not the gasket...
