My new nightmare, I accord (56k, don't bother)

Well here it is everyone, my 900 buck 3G that may end up at an even 2k before it gets home. I said all I wanted was a straight, rust-free LX-i hatch with decent interior since I have a spare complete motor at home to rebuild I shoulda just shut up. I'm just getting a back to normal day today after 3 trips to Florida (1 to the meet on Sunday in Kissimmee(500 miles round trip), 1 to get the car Monday in Orlando(500 miles round trip) and another to drop the friggin keys off at the tranny place yesterday(225 miles round trip) Anyways to make a long story short the tranny went out on it half way home so its on Ocala getting fixed. So here she is

The upper Radiator support is a lil on the bent side
Luckily I have some extra cash and said F*&k it let someone else fix it. It still needs some, well alot of work when I get it home but I'll worry about that later. All in all its in good shape, even if the tranny ends up getting totally replaced so I'm happy I guess. I'll take some more after I get it home and cleaned up and figure out why the turn signals and hazzards don't work since its not the realy and the guy I got it from says the fuses are good. Oh well more toys to play with

Good deal man, sucks about the tranny. I need to get the same deal. My 3g is still in good shape, just has some rust. I want one with no rust and a strait body, so I can do some nice custom stuff and drive it for the next decade.

I'm planning on looking at two hatches next week. one for 995 which is the exactly same color as yours. and another one that sorta looks the color of my old hatch for 1200 obo. both are LXI and 5 spd. LIke you, I'll probly have to put in money on top of it to get mantianence done..

Just hope th body is in good condition.

Kind of the situation that I'm in. Just purchased a 3G LX-i sedan for $1100. It has a new head, valves, etc. The interior is clean, just has that "old smell." Has been sitting under a tree so you can imagine the dirt on the car. Also the clear coat is gone on the hood........but I love the car!!

i talked a dealership down last weekend from $3000 to $900 for a champaigne hatch but i dont know if its even worth that much. its an LXi 5 spd, but it idled high, (when it warmed up the idle jumped up and down) had NO brakes (needed to be bled probably) had no right turn signal and it had 222k miles on it. I just thought about this though that i could just take the stuff i need out of my dead coupe and put it in the hatch.....hmmm maybe i'll wait a little while and see if he'll go down to 700.... :D

Fookin tranny's been there for 2 days and all the parts from Majestic got there today and they seem to be in noooooo hurry. I guess they figure since they can't anally rape me on parts and labor for a tear down they'll just piss me off by letting it set. So much for the initial call where I was told oh yeah we can have it towed and it should be out by Friday, which turned into we may be able to look at it on Friday to well we don't want to do anything until the parts get here. Well guess what parts are here so we will see. If its not ready by Friday I'll take a trip down to "liberate" it
