ok, dunno if any of you know what I am talking about, but there is a JDM ZC motor and alot of 4g civic guys like to put these engines in their puny dx's because they are a direct bolt-on they are dohc, they fit nicely into the civic's engine bay, they are stock with 130hp, nuff said you get the idea. Well I'm just throwing this question out there and hoping that anyone will know what I'm talking bout and can answer this for me. First gen integra's come with this "ZC" motor and they look almost identical... I'm wondering do the 1g integra's have the same mount setup as the JDM ZC and if so has anyone ever done this particular swap?

Don't the stock 87-88 1st gen tegs come with a 118hp D16 anyway? So why do a whole swap for only 12hp? I am assuming that you mean that the JDM ZC has that 130hp. Oh, wait, aren't the tegs also SOHC? That might explain it.

Yes they bolt up. Tranny and all.

Here is the first gen teg engine in the US.
D16A1- 1.6L DOHC- 86-89 Integra (86/87 113hp, 88/89 118hp)

ZC is the JDM equivalent of D16A1 but with 130hp. There was a SOHC and a DOHC ZC in the JDM.
