Just got my new used 18inch yesterday. The guy have kept the mags 'cause they need small reparation. So i'll get 'em at home in around 3 weeks. But no Matter, i've tryed 'em on my car yesterday to feel the ride and check if everything's ok with my 1.5inch drop. Here are the pics! :super:

don't tell me about the hood paint, i know. The car go to the body shop in a month for shaving, new paint, relocated fuel trap and my body kit custom.

As you can see, the car looks ok with 18inch and 1.5inch drop. Only my hand, and not all the hand can pass between the tire and the car. The tire on the pic are 215-35-18, but they will be 225-40-18.

i just don'T know why, but my speedo are already 20km/h over always :huh: When i want to ride at 60km/h i have to hit 80km/h on my speedo... so, maybe i'll just get a middle in all this.

About the rubber, the 215-35-18 was ok. Close of everything but ok. The reason why I want to go on 225-40 is that here, in quebec, we have the worst road of almost the world. If i ride a 215-30 or 35, if i hit a hole, my mag will be damn bad and i'll have to buy new tires always. i already knew it, i have some friends who riding some 18inch with 30 or 35 tires. They have to buy more than one set a year. :rant:

about the body, i'll get larger wing front and rear, so, they won't hit the body. As for the inside front when i turn the wheel, i'll have to be carefull on the 225-40, but if i stay at 215-35, it's absolutly ok. I've already checked all this yesterday.

The major reason about the 225-40, is our road. It's terrible!

oh and for sure..... i'll have to swap SE-i brake kit on this car.

Untrue, check my pic with the stock wheel beside the mags. they are less than a inch bigger. So, with the 225-40 it will be less than 2inch. Anyway, i need to be higher. My custom bodykit will hit the ground if i keep the 1.5inch drop with standard wheel or 17inch wheel. With this heigh, i will be just ok :super:

so if you have terible roads in Quebec, why didnt you get 15's or 16's? i live in Northern Ontario.. i have 215/40/17's and they are way tooo low for my suspension and the roads up here... im gonna get some 15 inch Rota's if i decide to keep the accord

I like em, Cant go wrong with low ride, with tuckin 18's, ur Fenders will probly need to be "Adjusted"(Rolled\Cut\what ever) to get them to fit, Shit, I would luv to tuck 18's in my hatch!

but, Forget it. im getting a talon TSI AWD, fook the bull shiete

The biggest reason are the look. I know it's not the best, but i hate 15 or 16 inch. They are too small. I love 'em Big like my friend in our crew who have 20inch on his Eclipse 2000. Maybe after a summer riding my 18inch i'll change my vision.

as I already answered and posted at the beguening, the car will be repainted in a month. I prepare mon complete kit. Carot, yes the flash kill the car..... but my paint looks horrible too. But not as much..... :rant:
