I plan on dropping my car and heard i needed camber kits or a sway bar. What are these and what do they do?

I almost got those wheels in 18's for my TL. You don't need a strut bar, it just helps for cornering and keeping your car on the ground. A camber you want after you get an alignment. What happens when you lower a car is, in the front the wheels are crooked. This can be fixed with a front camber kit. IT corrects your front wheels. Also gives your tire more life. Having a low car, the tires wear much quicker. And we all know they is pricey. Camber kit will run you $250-350.

If you lower your car more than 1"-1.5" you will most likely need a camber kit bro, only for the front tho. Some places won't align a car with camber kits installed, so if you do get em make sure that the place won't give you any hassle about em'. The place I bought my wheels from ordered the camber kit for me and also put it on.

You only need to adjust camber in the front after lowering?

I've got a set of 2.25 drop springs, so I'm trying to get what info I can find before I install.

if you lower your car more than 2" you need a camber kit, or your tires will wear unevenly
