sometimes when i go to leave my house or a parking lot that is slanted, iwll release the e brake and my car will start rolling backwards, and when i go to put the shifter from nuetral into reverse, it will grind and not go into reverse. i have the clutch all the way down. also, when i rev it high and try to shift from 1st to 2nd, the shifter will not go into 2nd. i have to let the rpms go down to like 4k. are these problems that i can fix? or does it mean that my ranny or clutch is goinng?

doesn't that just mean the synchronizers are going?

we don't have synchro for the reverse.
on the other note, remember this when you shift and you grind:
"Can't find it, grind it"

youre supposed to shift into 1st before reverse, because 1st is semi synchronized

Yeah, go into 2nd, then 1st, then reverse. You won't have problems then.

lol, yeah, shift into 1st first. I've had this happen with almost every one of my cars, it's nothing to worry about, just drop it into 1st so that the synchros lign up and then shift into reverse.
