where can you see the engine codes on other hondas besides ours. i was looking at a civic and couldn't find it.

What year Civic were you looking at? Shouldn't it be engraved on about the same spot as ours?

what type of civic?

look down to the block, its usually on the left side looking at the front of the car, (the passenger side of the car) about half way down. Its typically on a smooth square of the motor. its there somewhere, I dont have any pictures,especiallt now that my engine code faces the back the firewall..........

pretty much all hondas up to '02 models have the engine code on the same place on every motor. at least all the 4 cylinders.
