No, their idea of punishment is purposely not talking clearly on the phone. That mess there is punishment from God.

those friggin diagrams dont help either. i tried swapping carbs on a 2g once and i got a serious headache and just about went absolutely NUTS. I finally gave up. my crackhead friends grilled on it ALL NIGHT one night and actually figured it out......and who says drugs are bad??? :D

I second that.

I removed vaccum lines on a 2g once, it took 8 hours of trial and error, but it was worth it. I would hook you up with pics if I had them.

I removed vaccum lines on a 2g once, . . . So . . . do the 3G's have tons of plumbing too?

Hell yea they do, I took those off as well. The fuel injected 3gs are about 1/10th as bad. I think the 3g carb lines are worse than the 2g was.

Cheak this out, it should give you some ideas.: http://members.fortunecity.com/accordex87/how_to_remove_the_vacuum_lines.htm

What a fantastic link - thanks very much!

I'm a bit apprehensive to do all this stuff at once, but I might as well while everything's taken apart already . . .

. . . guess bubble gum isn't the best plug for a vacuum line, eh?

you might want to get ahold of the user POSCARB, he is mad crazy when it comes to carbs.
