fireball?

Well the other night i was out with some friends and one was behind me. I put it down cause they wanted to see what it would do. We stop later and he said that when i did alittle like fireball thing came out like in 2f2f but not that big. I do have a hole in the mid-pipe and muffler but im fixing. Would that be it cause if not it would be the carb right? I just had a new carb installed so im hoping it wasn't a waste. thanks

my cousins 240z/280z motor swap did.. he changed his carbed tah tweak it out.. and was running rich or sumthing with a exhaust leak .. and floors it on the freeway .. and * WOOOSH * fireball ..

when you driving your catalitic converter gets very hot inside, so add to this rich mixture and you get fireball.
