I know this may be normal but perhaps not. My car like most carbs takes some warming up to go in the morning. But its pretty bad because i can back up and almost every time the car sputters and shuts off then i restart gas it up some and go on for a few blocks. This happens not only in the morning but when works over after about 8-9 hours of sitting. It wants to cut off so bad. Should i just let it warm up more? I usally wait about 30 seconds

Additionally...
Gasoline, like any other liquid, evaporates less when it is cold. Oil gets a lot thicker in cold weather, and batteries have problems in cold weather.
But those damn carbs, it could be the venturis, the vacuum lines, shit who knows. A detailed inspection is required.

I see>> well your right should get a better inspection. I did however check the vacume lines. I havent ever gotten a new pcv valve could that help?

I am not sure let me check in the morning. Would that really effect it?
