well, I have only replaced a stock seat, wasn't too terribly diffcult to do but I think you need to replace the floor tracks for those... so I'm not sure on an aftermarket one.... and shouldn't this be in either General or Appearance?

If you are not a welder, then some steel L-Brackets from Homedepot and steel lock tight bolts will do the trick. Also lots of patience and of course the required tools.

They do, but they are not cheap. I don't know if Elijah was aware of that or had insufficient funds???

Talk to CRWA. he is the only one who has done it. Run a search. he posted about it back in May.

Its not easy at all and will take alot of measuring and adjusting to get it right.

You can use your stock rails and weld tabs to them to bolt the seats to.

Because I talk to him, seen his car, and sat in his Sparco seats. As of when he did it in May he was the only one to put Sparcos in a 3g. If someone else has done it then I haven't heard about it!:flipa:

Thats what I did but it was pretty much involved. Its hard to describe without pictures to point out.

Basicly I cut off the vertical pieces off the brackets. That the part the stock seats bolt to cause they bolt in from the sides not the bottom. I got me some metal strips and made tabs to weld onto the brackets. Drilled a whole where the bolt goes throughto hold the seat to the tabs, and used spacers to position the seat correctly.

When I did this I had the brackets bolted to the car so I could get the measurements for where to weld the tabs.

It took alot of work to get it right. If you can get the ones premade for like a hundread I'd go that route. (Painless)

Here's a pretty decent pic of what they look like.
