I have an 86 accord LX-i hatch. My friend owns an 89 SE-i but he went to warm it up and just had the e-brake on, and the car rolled down the hill (he lives in the hill towns) and it hit a tree, the whole trunk is messed up, but everything else is intact. What should i take from the SE-i ? I know the cupholder and the armrest are give ins... But should i get anything else from it while i'm parting it out?:help:

Excelent. I hope you are ready for some work. Welcome to the board.

Take the brakes, they are much better.

I would also rape the sway bars.

I would take the seats if they are still good. As far as under the hood rape it for what its worth. Alternator, startor, water pump, radiator, battery, head, distributor, ah hell just take the whole engine. If its a stick and you have an auto take the tranny and swap it into your car. That motor has an extra 10 or so hp as well.

Damn you for getting free SEi shit!
Welcome to the board man.

Yeah, my friend (adam) has trashed a gradn total of 5 accords... He's an accord killer. so my friend alex and i need to keep him away!! but i definately lucked out. He didn't set his E-brake tight enough and it just rolled down the mountain, the back is fucked up...
a bumper swap may be a good idea too.

I sounds like your friend should start buying Kia's.

The front bumper does looks better. I say get the grille and the front trim of the popups. They look better as well.

You should rape it of all you can and sell some stuff here.:)

The left rear rim is warped from hitting the tree.
man the car was almost upright from slamming it so hard.

I thought the se-i and lx-i had the same diameter sway bars?
