is a bt a good engine??

I have a 88 accord lxi with a bt in it and i am wondering if i can do anything to it!

Hell yea you can.
I have a BS engine (he he)
In 1986 and early 87 the pgmfi engine was called the BT then its name was changed to the A20A3 in 87-89.
In 1986 and early 87 the carb engine was called the BS then its name was changed to the A20A1 in 87-89.

So it sounds like you do not have the original engine. Oh well neither do I. Do a search, there are lots of things you can do with it.
