When I first got my Accord last spring, on cold mornings the choke used to kick in rev up the engine, and then kick down after a few minutes. Now that it's cold again, it doesn't do that anymore. It just starts and revs at about 1200 and slowly drops down slowly as the car heats up, but the choke doesn't appear to be kicking in and reving up to just over 2000 like it used to. What could be the cause of this?

Engine off and cold, blip gas pedal and then look at choke flap - should be closed when < 80*F. If not, the bimetallic spring inside choke heater housing is broken or something...
A closed choke flap (through a series of levers and springs) sets up Fast Idle Cam behind choke heater housing. Dump a can of carb cleaner behind choke housing, maybe everything there is gummed up.
..Or if u messed up with vacuum hoses and got vacuum @ High Idle Unloader(#18 and #19) or thermovalve A fails to air bleed, then fast idle cam comes off to ~1200rpm step after start up.
