MY 89 EXI Questions

does the light on the ecu alway stay lit when the key is on or does it say lit when a problem occurs?
Next is my engine trys to start but never keeps firing it just dies right when it startes to run could it be my ignition module?
Will the whole distrubitor assembly of a 86 prelude si fit?
