:pimp: There's a thread: How hard to change head gasket? and in it someone gives the advice to just change the entire head $400. What would that do? For performance? The thread was about changing the head gasket, but why would you change the head or is it a good idea to do that?

If you get a port and polish job, valve grind and all that good stuff then a head swap is worth it. Otherwise you won't see any difference.

okay cool, just wondering if it would be a good idea to change it out. I guess a transmission or engine would be a better thing to swap out though.

 Purdy. I'm taking it that's been P&P'd with all the trimmings. Ooooohhh I'd love to slap that on my engine!

that A20 head was done by Dave Lacalio of Head Games Motorworks.. There is a full write up about it in the market Place section of the forum here: http://209.151.81.66/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26032

Head Games sponsors Bullish Racing in Northern NJ. Link here http://www.bullishmotorracing.com/

I also just had the head of my 91 Eclipse GSX turbo done by Dave. At the track a week ago i ran a full second faster with 3 psi less boost needed cause of his Head Work.... I would say that is an improvement...
