short shifter adjustment

ok,
i just got pacessetter short shifter.
before i start installing it, i have one question.
how did you adjust your ball? all the way to the top, all the way to the bottom or in the middle?

start it in the middle, see how you like it. The shorter you make the throw the harder it is to get into gear. Its all about balance.

P.S. Move the ball twards the top to shorten it.

Adjusting it too short will make it scrape on the heat shield. You can remove this if you want, but that area will get pretty hot when ya do. Best bet is to buy a high flow cat from eBay that has the built in shield and kill two birds with one stone, if ya already haven't :)
