Ok it's been 20,000 miles since I put in the new headgasket, so I thought I'd do another compression test to see where I'm at.

I did this with the engine hot (about 15 minutes after driving), if that matters any. Exact mileage on motor at test was 294,538.3

1st test
- Cylinder 1 -- 202
- Cylinder 2 -- 209
- Cylinder 3 -- 210
- Cylinder 4 -- 199

2nd test
- Cylinder 1 -- 203
- Cylinder 2 -- 205
- Cylinder 3 -- 210
- Cylinder 4 -- 196

My manual is locked in my sisters garage, which I won't be able to get to for a couple of days, which is why I'm asking this here. I don't remember what the compression is supposed to be for the '89 LX-i, so if someone could enlighten me I'd be very greatful :) Also if you know what the maximum allowable variation in compression between cylinders is, that would be great too.

So what do you think? Good...bad? If I remember correctly, these numbers are a bit higher than the last compression test I did

:)
