Which thermovalve is associated with the heat riser? I want to put mine back on, but I ripped out all the vacuum lines, and don't know which thermovalve I should be using.

So no one has any idea which valve it is? Guess I'll have to suck on a few vacuum lines and find out.

if you look on the vacuum line removal how-to and on the sticker that is on the underside of your hood you can get a diagram for how the thermovalves should be hooked up.

What u're after:
1. "Heat riser" which is coolant passages at the base of carb.
2. "Intake air control" door + diaphragm which controls cold/hot air in the snorkel, before air filter.

Sorry, #2. I wanna hook up the hot air control again. I don't have one of those stickers under my hood. Anyone have a big picture of one? (for an 86 of course)

For #2, download Paul's manual chap. 11 page 5..7 and look for KX or KQ diagram (86 BS engine only).
The "Intake air control" is quite simple system:

[intake manifold vacuum]->#8->[3ways check valve]->diaphragm
[3ways check valve]->Thermo Switch

The Thermo Switch is inside black air box passenger side, it air bleeds the system above ~25*C.
All vacuum lines are routed under air box.
