Fuse is good uder hood for Lighter..still nothin'

If you are talking about the cig lighter just replace it!

The contacts at the BACK of the FEMALE part get corroded and fucked with time.

Same thing happened to my lighter. It worked all the time....then only some of hte time....then I had to plug it in just right or no heat...then nother at all!

Is it the cigarette lighter is not getting hot or when you plug something (radar detector etc.) in the socket it doesn't work?

If it is the cigarette lighter not getting hot try replacing the lighter. They eventually burn out from alot of use. Sometimes you can look at the coils and see the break.

tryed using a adapter thing, and it got no power through the lighter

First see if the adapter has a fuse. Usually in the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter. Some you can unscrew the front and they have a fuse in there. If that is good then look at the socket as mentioned above. They do get corroded.
