2 questions!

First question:
For the K&N filters, do i really need to buy that cleaning kit to clean the filter? or is there a cheaper way of doing it?


Second Question:
ok, my Accord doesn't have the light at the ignition keyhole. how do i go about installing that in my car? cuz i was thinking about ripping the LED's from my cell phone for that, but i dunno about the wiring.

Hey

I'll try my best to answer this one for ya.

The K&N filter will last so many years before it needs a cleaning.
(I suggest not to let it go that long, b/c the more that collects the greater the chance of getting it in your carb or clog up the manifold, plus you'll get more airflow if you keep em clean for more performance)
Just to be safe, I would use K&N's product to clean and not any other household or automotive product.

I think with that, you can just take out the rubber insert and replace it with a battery operated one or you may have to do some wiring. (I'm going to need backup on this one cause I haven't done this mod before, thought about it before but forgot, oh well)
