Seeing as I am buying an 89 LX-i I would like to find out what all the differences are between the years. I used to own an 87 LX-i and found a great site but I cannot seem to find it again. Also, what are a few commonly used intakes? I'm not modifying the car for speed, I've a Supra for that, I am just trying to free up the airflow a little

SEARCH makes some great options.........

there are just a few cosmetic differences between the years. DX and LX had carbs, LXi and SEi had EFI. thats the biggest differences.

The 88-89 LXi had larger front brakes, larger sway bars (or maybe just the rear bar is larger, I'm not sure), different idle controls, intake and exhaust manifolds.

actually only 89 accords had 120Hp engines. the 86-88 accords had 110hp according to Chilton's manual.
