well first off, when I start my car in the cold morning, or after its been sitting in the cold for a while. It will start ok but then after I shift down in gear, it will bog down and stall. But if I put it in gear, then quickly get on the gas, it will be alright for the ride.
I dont really know what it could be. I just hope its nothing too bad.

also if anyone knows how to make any adjustments on the carb that just teaks it a little bit to get some more power. that would be good to know

Umm.
You should peruse through the HOWTO section, it has the answers you need.

you can't tweak the stock carb for more power. it is not made to do that.
it looks like you need to asjust the carburator to get rid of bad idle in gear.

Hey, there is always the vacuum line mod. That makes a tad bit more power but more importantly gets rid of hesitation.
